Musitonia is Simon-Gabriel Auger’s solo music project through which he composes modern, epic and hybrid classical music that inspire scenarios or short stories. Each track projects you into a different atmosphere where you can let your imagination guide you through your own universe.

Simon-Gabriel Auger is a freelance Music Composer focused on cinematic music, specializing in creating epic and emotional atmosphere from modern classical and hybrid orchestral music. He is from Rimouski, Quebec, Canada. He studied cello and music through a music program in elementary and secondary school. It was during this period that he composed his first pieces (melodies for 2 cellos) but it was more particularly during his one-year stay in Sweden where Simon-Gabriel learned the basics allowing him to produce more complex compositions and to be able to produce adaptations for band, choir and other music ensemble.

Simon-Gabriel’s music is largely influenced by the great composers of the early twentieth century (neoclassical) and progressive and neo-progressive music of the seventieth to the ninetieth. He began composing music with a cinematic/production focus following the discovery of music produced by great trailer music labels such as Brand X Music, Audiomachine and Two Steps From Hell. In 2015, his first EP, The Aftermath of a Silent Storm (released in 2014), was nominated for best score at the Moondance International Film Festival in Colorado. In 2019, he composed and produced the album “Mastermind” for the cinematic industry under the West-Hollywood based publisher Moon & Sun Music. In the same year, one of his track was selected for an album by well-known UK publisher Gothic Storm Music.
